The pVL1392-XylE control plasmid is a purified baculovirus transfer DNA for control transfection experiments. This plasmid contains the Pseudomonas putrida gene xylE. Co-transfection of pVL1392-XylE with baculovirus DNA such as Saphire™ DNA will generate recombinant baculoviruses that express the functional 40 kDa XylE protein. Infected insect cells producing XylE will turn bright yellow within 1 minute in presence of XylE Staining Solution.
